Montgomery Bus Boycott
   During 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama Rosa Parks refused to get up from her seat when asked by a white person. This started the Montgomery Bus Boycott, she was arrested for her actions. A lot of people thought she didn't move because she was tired but thats not true she was standing up for her rights. The boycott lasted a little over a year about 381 days.

NAACP
  Rosa became the secretary of the NAACP, to be able to help serve the black community better.

March on Washington
   
 Martin Luther King Jr. gave his "I have a dream" speech at the March on Washington. Rosa Parks along with  many others were there to attend. She also spoke at the SCLC (Southern Christian Leardership Conference).

Selma to Montgomery
  
 Of the 25,000 people both Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks were apart of the voting rights protestive walk from Selma to Montgomery.
Also during this time Rosa started working for Congressmen John Conyers 1st district of Michigan, Detroit.

Million Man March
    In 1995 Rosa Parks spoke at the Million Man March and a year later recieved the Medal of Freedom from President Bill Clinton.
